$2.50
Jalapeños, which belong to the nightshade family along with tomatoes and eggplant, get their heat from capsaicin. Most commonly associated with Mexican cuisine, these little gems are delicious in any recipe. Fresh jalapeños can be chopped, sliced, or diced to be enjoyed in salsa or salad dressing, nachos, or left whole and stuffed with cheese.
One-half pound of jalapeño peppers (grown with organic practices - not certified)
