Bell Peppers

Delano Community Farm

$4.50

Color will vary.

Although often used as a vegetable in cooking, bell peppers are actually fruits as they contain seeds. Green bell peppers have a slightly bitter, grassy taste with a crunchy, juicy texture. In contrast, the ripe red bell peppers are sweeter and more fruity in flavor. Similarly, the orange and yellow varieties are sweeter than the green ones. Bell peppers are not spicy and do not have any heat.

One pound of peppers, color will vary (grown with organic practices - not certified)
